Oh Brother.

I just had another image deleted by Photobucket. This one was Keith Garvey's Mindy. I can't believe they found that censor worthy. Give me a break. It's a cartoon, for crying out loud, with butt cheeks visible under her skirt. Big freakin' deal. If ANYONE knows of a site where I can post animations with some skin showing, please let me know. This is so stupid.

Santa's Journal

Image
Okay, this could very well be my most complicated tag so far. I followed the tut to make a standard tag. I really liked this one. The Santa was cool, old fashioned looking, the way I like. I was very happy with the simple tag. And even learned that there is an "offset" button. Interesting. I used a tan background, because if I put this on my website, it might not look too great with the dusty pink background. But at the bottom of the tutorial, there are instructions for how to animate the tut into a puzzle! With an autistic child in the house, and being the webmaster for the local autism support group, and puzzle pieces are the international symbol for autism, well, I just HAD to make the animated tut! The animation was fun, a little complicated but not over my head, mostly just time consuming. And when I got all done with it, I just kept looking at old St. Nick expecting him to wink or something. So I kept going with the animation. Now I have a winking puzzle Sant...

Let It Snow 2

Image
I like Christmas tags, what can I say? I rather liked the snow on this. I tried to do my own, and I couldn't get it to look this good, so I went back to the supplied snow. I didn't like how they edited the bow to get the tag in under it, but I suppose it wasn't that awkward. The end result was okay, and the practice will do me good. I did do some editing of my own though. I didn't like how you could see part of the words on the tag. I colored them out. Then I copied and pasted some new snowflakes in over them, to cover up the parts that got erased when I took out the words. I was happier with it then. Not a bad little tag. Pain And Sorrow

Image
This was an okay tut. I liked the colors and the elements of the scrap kit. And I liked how the Zindy tube went with the theme. Can't say I really learned anything with this one, but that's okay. I just did it because I thought it was an interesting look I wasn't sure if I did the right thing, bringing the tube layer down below the frame, but it seemed to take away so much from the rest of the design when I had it layered above. You lost a lot of the filigree look, which is one of the things I liked about this tag. Tutorial Used: http://cathystuts.blogspot.com/2009/07/pain-and-sorrow.html .

Kiss It Goodbye

Image
This will probably disappear but I thought I would give it a go anyway. The censors at photobucket weren't too keen on it. They deleted the other two sizes I had of this exact same tag, but mysteriously left this one alone, even though it was right next to the ones they deleted. Go figure. Sigh. Does anyone know of a photo storage site that takes gifs and allows a little adult content? It didn't even occur to me that a half exposed butt crack could offend the powers that be. I've seen more above the kid next door's jeans. :/ Tutorial Used: None .

Old attempts at Animated Sigs

I did these a long time ago, but I never posted them. They're just for fun. Tutorial Used: http://askmaggymae.com/PSP/writingsignature.htm
